Who can use myMoko?
We are designed for the Africans living abroad, their family members receiving care locally, and trusted healthcare providers across Africa including clinics, pharmacies, and diagnostic centers.
How is myMoko different from sending money?
Unlike blindly sending money back, with myMoko you can guarantee the funds go directly to verified medical services, and every transfer is tracked and you follow the care journey with our shared care record.
What types of services can I fund with myMoko?
You can fund clinic visits, lab tests, prescriptions, home care, diagnostic tests and scans, emergency care and preventive check-ups. All delivered by verified healthcare providers within our network.
How secure are payments and our health data?
We uses bank-grade encryption and comply with global data protection standards. Your health and payment information is securely stored and only shared with consented individuals and services.
What currencies does myMoko support?
Diaspora users can fund care accounts in their local currency (e.g. GBP, USD, EUR), which is converted securely into Ghanaian Cedis (₵) or other local African currencies for provider payments at point of transfer.
Can I track how my funds are used?
Yes. myMoko gives you real-time visibility into every funded service - from payment confirmation to care completion - including digital receipts, treatment updates, and progress reports.
Is there support for issues transactions or service?
myMoko offers 24/7 customer support to resolve issues quickly. You can report any payment or service concern directly within the app or website, and our support team will follow up immediately.
How can I join myMoko?
